Hyperuricemic nephropathy

  First, definition: hyperuricemic nephropathy refers to a primary, secondary hyperuricemia accompanied with the urate deposited in kidney with performance of kidney stone, kidney obstruction, interstitial nephritis, acute or chronic kidney failure.

  Second, the cause of this disease is urate deposited in kidney caused by primary or secondary hyperuricemia.

  Third, pathogenesis: the abnormal metabolism of purine will make urea retain in human body, then form urate deposited in kidney to trigger nephritis.

  Fourth, types: it can be classified as acute hyperuricemic nephropathy, chronic hyperuricemic nephropathy and uratic kidney stone.

  Fifth, symptoms: gouty arthritis, severe low back pain, nausea, vomit, drowsiness, increased nocturia(due to the injury in renal interstitium and glomerular)

  Sixth, diagnosis: middle-aged male with hyperuricemia, especially arthritis, gouty are susceptible for this disease. If one suffers kidney stone, and the urea>4.17mmol/dl, we can judge he got this disease. If there is urate deposited in glomerular or kidney interstitium, we can make a definite diagnosis.

  Seventh, treatment: the treatment of hyperuricemic nephropathy may be classified as two types: western therapy and Chinese medicine therapy. In western, doctors use western medicine to relieve disease, while there are much side-effect in it. In our hospital, we treat this disease from the root. the glomerular sclerosis will be treat through micro Chinese medicine osmotherapy.
