  What kinds of complications do the patients with long-term dialysis have? We all know that patients need long-term treatment if they had been in dialysis, and the long-term dialysis will cause many kinds of complications for the body of the patients. Therefore, what kinds of complications do the patients with long-term dialysis have?

  Firstly, we are very familiar with dialysis. Patients with heavy kidney disease will finally be treated by dialysis, but there are a large number of complications for dialysis which are mainly caused by new dialyzer and tube. These complications which can be divided into A type and B type according to the symptoms mostly begins in several minutes or one hour after dialysis. The symptoms of A type complications include dyspnea, whole body hyperthermia, cardiac arrest. Slight symptoms include itching, urticaria, cough, lacrimation, rhinorrhea, muscle spasm and diarrhea…

  Secondly, patients with uremia will have hypotension in the process of dialysis. According to the statistics, the incidence rate of hypotension for dialysis patients is from 20 percent to 40 percent. The typical symptoms of hypotension include nausea, vomit, perspiration, pale complexion, dyspnea and etc.

  Thirdly, clinically, most patients with uremia will have the symptoms of nausea, vomit, headache, fatigue and fidget after a long-term dialysis. The incidence rate will reach from 10 percent to 20 percent. The severe patients will have tic and fremitus at the same time. The main therapy is injecting high permeability solution in vein, and stop the dialysis, if it is necessary.

  Fourthly, in addition to these above, patients with uremia will have arrhythmia in the process of dialysis. According to the experts of kidney disease, the reasons of arrhythmia include coronary heart disease, heart failure, pericarditis, severe anemia, electrolyte disturbance, hyoxemia, hypotension and etc. The incidence rate of arrhythmia is 50 percent. Patients will also have muscle apasm in dialysis, though the reasons of it is not very clear now.
